Bon à Tirer (BAT), which means “good to pull”, is a printmaker’s authorised trial proof that sets the approval for print and the quality to proceed for all other editions. Referencing the title’s call for action, ac43gallery is pleased to introduce our audience to the multi-faceted printmaking practices of 4 local artists, showcasing over 25 original works taking the form of lithographs, woodcuts, collagraphs, etchings, mimeograph and silkscreen prints.
‘BON à TIRER: ORIGINAL PRINTS BY CHEN SHITONG, APRIL NG, TAN SEOW WEI & ZHANG FUMING’ is supported by the Singapore National Arts Council and is a part of Bras Basah Complex Galleries’ Joint Art Week, an annual showcase of exhibitions from 10 galleries housed in Bras Basah Complex in the month of November.
Exhibition Period: 23 November - 3 December 2018
Venue: AC43 Gallery, 231 Bain Street, Bras Basah Complex, #03-39
