Talk [artcommune] - Introduction to Singapore's 2nd-generation Artists

Presented by artcommune gallery, this talk aims to equip participants with a basic understanding of the early art scene in Singapore, with a particular focus on the 2nd-generation artists. We will be looking at artworks of various mediums including oil, watercolour, acrylic, Chinese ink and of different styles ranging from Western painting to Chinese painting and calligraphy.
This module is essential for both new art collectors and general persons who want to learn more about art, the course of our national art history, and the 2nd-generation artists who have made invaluable contributions to our local art scene.
